Thrift & Gift Shop

Business hours for shopping and donating:

Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 10am – 2pm

Project ECHO Thrift & Gift Shop is where you can help the homeless by shopping. You can also help by donating your gently used clothing and household items. Every item you donate, and every dollar you spend here, goes toward our mission of supporting the homeless of our community. We thank you for helping us provide hope for the homeless.

Volunteers

Along with shopping and donating, you can help the homeless by volunteering here. Whether you give four hours a week or four hours a month, your service will make a difference.

Volunteer tasks range from daily sorting, cleaning, and stocking to the occasional research, IT help, or seasonal projects. No commitments are needed upfront, and no experience is necessary. Come check us out and see why our volunteers love it here. Thrift Volunteer Form.

Hours

The shop is open 10am – 2pm Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Donations are accepted on those days until 2pm or when we run out of space.

The Thrift & Gift Shop closes on major holidays and follows Calvert County Public School guidelines for inclement weather closings.

If you’re ever unsure of store hours, donation hours, or weather closings, please check our Facebook page for regular updates. Thank you!

Gift Certificates

A gift certificate to Project ECHO Thrift & Gift Shop is perfect for anyone who loves shopping for a bargain! It’s also an easy way to support ECHO’s mission of helping the homeless, right from your own home. Gift certificates can be made in any denomination, they never expire, and we can even mail them directly to you or your special someone.
