Recovery Support

Project ECHO recognizes that trauma comes in many forms. Fortunately, so does recovery. Our recovery programs are designed to fit the needs of the people we serve and are thus ever-evolving. If you need recovery support services, if you provide recovery support services, or if you just want to know more, please contact us

Clare's Program

Clare’s Program supports women recovering from developmental trauma, co-dependency, and addiction through the use of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Neurofeedback (NFB), and a supportive group environment as core tools. This combination lays the groundwork for stabilization, self-reconnection, and connection with others, setting the stage for ongoing personal growth and helping clients access the assistance they need.

Social and emotional recovery forms the foundation for building healthy relationships, pursuing educational goals, and improving career opportunities. Clare’s Program offers a holistic approach by striving to provide a range of complementary resources, such as yoga, financial literacy classes, workforce training, adult education, parenting classes, healthcare support, and more. The program is available at no cost and emphasizes open communication and collaboration to promote recovery, stability, and community wellness.

We are incredibly grateful to the Clare’s Program service providers, organizers, and the Qlarant Foundation for their generous donations. To inquire about the program, please contact Michéle Quesenberry at 443-684-4640.

Sober Living Support

In 2015, Project ECHO opened the first Oxford House in Calvert County, MD. Nearly 10 years later, this house is still in successful operation and there are more Oxford options in our area than ever before. For more information, visit Oxfordhouse.org or stop by Project ECHO to pick up an Oxford House application. Applications are kept secure and private and promptly delivered to the House President.

What is an Oxford House

Oxford Houses are self-run, self-supported sober houses for those seeking recovery from addiction. All decisions pertaining to an individual house are democratically made by the members of that house, so each house may have unique personalities. However, to maintain an Oxford charter, every house must follow three rules: be democratically run, expel members who use drugs and/or alcohol, and ensure each member pays their fair share of household expenses.

By visiting OxfordHouse.org you’ll find a complete explanation of this remarkable organization.
